About me

I'm Alejo, a product designer based in Buenos Aires with over 5 years of experience working at agencies, designing digital products that hold up — visually and structurally.

I started out studying Multimedia Design, which is where I first fell in love with interactivity as a form of design and expression. That curiosity never really left. These days it shows up in how I work: I rarely stop at the mockup. I build what I design, using Framer, Webflow, and increasingly AI tools and vibecoding to bring ideas to life without waiting for someone else to do it.

I'm Alejo, but please call me Ale.

🗣️ I'm part of the core team at Service Design Club, an international community connecting professionals and amateurs across disciplines.

🎤 In 2023 we hosted the SDConf our first in-person conference, with more than 300 attendees and 20 speakers (and a website I designed and built in Framer 😉)

🗣️ In 2020 I joined the core team at Service Design Club, an international community connecting professionals and amateurs across disciplines.

🌐 We have a Discord server with over 9000 members and we've done meetups, a podcast, a free UI Design bootcamp and lots of other things to share design knowledge as a community. It's a bit of a cult but in a good way.

🏕️ In March 2024 we facilitated the 4th edition of the UI Camp, our UI design bootcamp focused on empowering junior designers with essential skills and best practices for the professional realm. With over 50 graduates, this was our biggest edition. I was a mentor during the bootcamp and built the website in Framer.

👷 I like building side projects almost as much as I like shipping real ones.

🤖 Right now I'm exploring what AI-assisted workflows can actually do, not in a hype way, but in a "let me try it until I understand it" way.

⚽ 🥁 🎹 When I'm not designing: I'm watching River Plate and suffering accordingly, playing drums, slowly learning piano, digging through record stores for vinyl, and losing hours to videogames.

They live with my parents now, which means I get all the love with none of the 4am wake-up calls.
