Enhancing user experience in a saturated app market
There are lots of wallets in the market, so the main challenge for n1u was to be disruptive, different, and very focused on the main target user: gamer teenagers who are starting to manage their finances.
With this in mind, we worked on learning who our users were and how we could transfer daily tasks and mechanics in games to the product. We did a lot of research and ran interviews with future users to understand their needs and the market

N1U combined top features from leading competitors to create a versatile "super app" that not only manages finances but also offers a visually dynamic and immersive experience. We tested with users at this point to reassure that we were going on the right path.
Users loved its playful design and engaging visuals, setting a new standard for user interaction and market impact for young ages.
Rather than reinventing the wheel, we studied what worked best across competing apps and combined those strengths into something more complete. The goal was a super app that handled finances while also feeling visually alive and immersive.
We kept testing with users throughout to make sure we were heading in the right direction. The playful design and dynamic visuals resonated strongly, setting a new bar for what a financial app could feel like for younger audiences.
